Selected Oral Contraceptive Pills are available from a pharmacist accredited to supply the oral contraceptive pill without prescription.
You must have had the pill previously prescribed by a Doctor in the last 3 years and had two visits to the Doctor to discuss the pill. You must be aged 16 to 39 for the combined oral contraceptive pill or 15 to 52 years for the progestogen only pill.
Only some types of the Oral contraceptive pill are available from your pharmacist. These include the most commonly used preparations including Levlen, Microgynon 20ED, Norimin and Noriday.
